The SSYLF is made up of articulating and vibrant youths from the womb of mother Niger Delta, is with the vision of internalizing a model within the region that will create a value driven society based on equality, equity, social justification, truth, natural law, justice, freedom, morality, legalism including a catalog of humanistic and conventional ideologies for sustainability in quest of peace, development and an improved Niger Delta region.

- Youths within the Niger Delta region are friendly, peace loving, entertaining having the tendency of receiving stranger to their own detriment. This is the case between multinational, federal Government and host communities in Niger Delta.

- The uncultured attitude of multinational with the aid from federal Government made the peace loving youth to oft to violent as the only language they understand.

People, government multinationals needs to become accountable to their actions and activities in the Niger Delta region. International community must participate in the fight to re-radicalize Niger Delta region for the profitability of mankind.

- The Niger Delta is endowed with inherent and natural potentials that can impact the world economy. If nothing is done today, it should be known that the world at large will face a greater threat that will destabilize her peace in the next twenty years to come.

- The people of the ND region must be integrated her own development plan program and policies that the Nigeria state and world must appreciate and work with, people within the region must be given fair hearing in both international and local issues. Community participation in each stratum of political social financial economic environment cultural matters must be upheld within and outside the region.

- SSYLF is an umbrella body of all the youth groups within the region. It is a participatory body at all the stratum of the Niger Delta life. It ensures the overhauling of development, environment, political, economic, financial, socially and cultural issue in the Niger Delta region.
